How do I become a Licensed Care Provider? |

Child care is licensed by the California Department of Social Services. Options assists prospective providers by offering technical assistance, training and support throughout the licensing process. Once a provider is licensed, Options provides ongoing support to assist each provider to provide quality care to the children they serve. |

What are the due dates to return Attendance Sheets and Provider Payment Requests for payment?
|

|
All Attendance Sheets and Provider Payment Requests returned the following month by the 5th will be paid as part of our first check run. All Attendance Sheets and Provider Payment Requests returned after the 5th and before the 15th will be paid on the 25th or 30th. All Attendance Sheets and Provider Payment Requests returned after the 15th will be paid on the 15th of the following month.

When are the checks mailed? |

Checks are mailed on the 15th and 25th of each month for Stage 1. If these dates fall on a weekend the checks will be mailed the Friday prior to the weekend. For all Subsidized Programs, checks are mailed on the 15th and 30th of each month. If these dates fall on a Saturday the checks will be mailed on the Friday before. If these dates fall on a Sunday the checks are mailed on the following Monday. |

If you have any questions or problems with your Attendance Sheets or Provider Payment Requests you should call and speak to your Parent Specialist or Fiscal Department staff person.
