1. How much vacation and sick time am I allowed?
Answer: Options offers employees Personal Time-Off (PTO) which is used for vacation, illness, injury, personal business, or any time an employee may need to be off-work. Regular, full-time (40 hours/ week) employees accrue 18 hours of personal time per month. Part-time employees accrue PTO on a pro-rated basis. There is a maximum accrual of 30 days.

Holidays that fall on Saturday are celebrated on the preceding Friday, and holidays that fall on a Sunday are celebrated on the following Monday. Employees must be on paid status on both the day preceding and the day following the scheduled holiday in order to be paid for the holiday.
3. How often are payroll checks issued?
Answer: Payroll checks are issued twice a month and within 10 days after the end of the pay period. There are 2 pay periods each month. The first pay period of the month is from the 1st to the 15th and the second pay period is from the 16th to the last day of the month. Employees may choose to have their payroll checks on direct deposit , mailed, or picked up in person at our Corporate office.
4. What career opportunities are available within the Agency?
Answer: Options publishes Internal Job Postings and a monthly Open Positions Report for the entire Agency. The postings and the report are distributed to all the Division offices. Employees are encouraged to review these postings to identify positions they may be interested in and qualified for.
