Options Child Care Surround Care Division: Teacher

A California Driver's License, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance.

To plan and conduct group activities based on the Surround Care curriculum.
To supervise and interact with children in a positive manner.
To develop and maintain learning centers which reflect the interests and needs of the children enrolled in the program.
To provide a wide variety of experiences for children with an emphasis on active participation.
To use sensitivity and good judgement when interacting with children and parents.
To provide a safe, well-supervised environment.
To work with the children to maintain a clean environment both inside and outside.
To accomplish other duties as assigned to create and maintain a quality program.
To accurately complete all required paperwork for the program and to submit to according to established schedule.
To read and implement all Agency and program policies.
To interact in a positive manner with School District personnel and other visitors.
To give enrollment and program information to prospective families and to be a positive recruiter for the program.
To supervise the assistant Teacher and any other volunteers in the program.
Assist the Education Coordinator as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Twelve month work year.
Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
Employment, responsibilities, compensation, or any other factor may be affected by changes in governmental regulations, the Agency's contracts, or at Agency discretion.
