- Telephone answering skills.
- Word processing and computer literacy skills.
- General clerical and data entry experience.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute with accuracy.
- Ability to work well with people, a sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.

- Bilingual skills may be required (Spanish, Chinese and/or Vietnamese).
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
- A California Driver's License, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance.

- Provide general clerical support to division staff.
- Maintain family files and waiting list of families on computer system.
- Maintain other Head Start Division files.
- Receptionist duties.
- Assist Family Services Administrator as needed.
- Data entry, word processing and typing for Head Start Division.
- Input and retrieve computer data.
- Create computer reports as needed.
- Assist with other office work.
- Special Projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Works under direction of the Family Services Administrator.

- Twelve month work year.
- Employment responsibilities, compensation, or any other factor may be affected by changes in governmental regulation, the Agency's contracts, or at Agency discretion.

Full-Time, Non-exempt: $13.11/hr. + Benefits
