- Minimum of 12 units in Education, Human Development, Recreation and Child Development.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with students ages 12-15.
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.

- A California Driver's License, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance.
|
 |
- Plan a coordinated, educational program and conduct group activities based on the Middle School curriculum.
- Supervise and interact with the students in a positive manner.
- Act as a proper role model for student participants, staff members, and volunteers.
- Maintain the "hub" portable to reflect the interests and needs of the students in the program.
- Assist in providing a wide variety of experiences for the students with an emphasis on enriching their school experience and their outlook on their lives.
- Provide homework assistance as needed.
- Use sensitivity and professional judgment when interacting with students, parents, staff, volunteers, visitors and school personnel.
- Provide a safe, well-supervised environment.
- Administer CPR and First Aid in emergency situation prior to emergency personnel's arrival.
- Work with students to maintain a clean environment both inside and outside, as well as library and other areas of the campus used by the program.
- Comply with and implement all Agency and program policies.
- Provide registration and program information to prospective families and to be a positive recruiter for the program.
- Supervise aides and volunteers in the program.
- Assist the Site Supervisor and Education Coordinator as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
- Employment responsibilities, compensation, or any other factor may be affected by changes in governmental regulations, the Agency's contracts, or at Agency discretion.

Part-time, Non-exempt $11.82/hr. + Benefits
