- At least 12 college units in Education, Human Development, Recreation or Child Development.
- At least one year experience working with children ages 5-12.
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.
- A California Driver's License, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance.

- To plan and conduct group activities based on the enrichment curriculum.
- To supervise and interact with the children in a positive manner.
- To act as a proper role model for children, staff members and volunteers.
- To provide a wide variety of experiences for children with an emphasis on enriching their school experience.
- To use sensitivity and good judgement when interacting with children, parents, staff, volunteers, and school personnel.
- To provide a safe and well supervised environment.
- To work with staff and children to maintain a clean environment in the library, classrooms, playground and any other areas of the campus used by the program.
- To accurately complete all required paperwork for the program and to submit it according to the established schedule.
- To read and implement all Agency and program policies.
- To give registration and program information to prospective families and to actively recruit and enroll children into the program.
- To actively recruit and coordinate activities with collaborative community partners.
- To supervise aides and volunteers in the program.
- To assist the Education Coordinator as needed, i.e. training, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Works under direction of the Education Coordinator.

 |
- Twelve month work year.
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
- Employment, responsibilities, compensation, or any other factor may be affected by changes in governmental regulations, the Agency's contracts, or at Agency discretion.

Part-Time, Non-Exempt: $11.04/hr. + Benefits
