- At least one to two years experience in the construction industry performing duties in two or three out of five of the following disciplines: rough or finish construction, plumbing, electrical and painting.
- Ability to use typical construction hand tools.
- Knowledge of estimating project material.
- Ability to easily lift weights of 100 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.
- A California Driver's License, use of a motor vehicle for daily use on the job, and automobile liability insurance.

- Pickup or other truck for daily use on job and own tools for daily use on job.

 |
- Knowledge of construction practices and principles.
- Knowledge of woodworking tools and material.
- Typical construction projects (ramps, stairs, wood canopies, wood sheds and sand boxes).
- Knowledge of installation of door, windows, sinks, water and sewer lines, cabinet doors and electrical fixtures.
- Replacing vinyl flooring, carpeting, wood siding and trim.
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies and other items as directed.
- Report and correct safety hazards.
- Assist with agency facilities department work.
- Assists Facilities Director or others as assigned.
- Work not to be limited to only the above description.

- Works under the direction of the Facilities Director.

- Twelve month work year.
- Hours may vary, including evenings or weekend hours or holidays as required.
- Employment, responsibilities, compensation or any other factor may be affected by changes in governmental regulations, the Agency's contracts, or at Agency discretion.

Full-time Non-Exempt; $17.70/hr. + Benefits
