- B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience and three years of supervision experience.
- Proven ability to operate computer systems Access, Lotus 1-2-3, etc.
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.
- A California drivers license, daily use of an automobile, and automobile liability insurance.

- Bilingual skills may be required (Spanish/Chinese).

- Performs routine accounting duties Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, Monthly Financial Statements, and other bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintain and prepare monthly reports on provider payment expenditures and projections, parent fee cash flow, collections, and projected receivables.
- Supervise Fiscal Department staff in performing assigned duties.
- Assist Director, Fiscal Officers, and Coordinators as requested.
- Assist Department Coordinators and Supervisors in operating, updating and expanding computerized accounting system.
- Hold regular meetings with fiscal department.
- Perform monthly internal audits and prepare for annual audit.
- Maintain accounting files.
- Prepare annual 1099 reports.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Works under the direction of the Resource & Referral Coordinator and the Subsidized Department Coordinator, who will jointly evaluate this position.
|
|
|
- Twelve month work year.
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
- Employment, responsibilities, compensation, or any other factor may be affected by changes in governmental regulations, the Agency's contracts, or at Agency discretion.
|
Full time, Exempt: $4,503/mo + Benefits
