- Two years experience in a professional capacity in managing database systems.
- Access and Visual Basic programming experience.
- Experience in local area network software and web creation.
- Experience with SQL 2000 or relational database programming.
- Ability to read, write, interpret and explain technical and/or complex information.
- Ability to correctly and effectively communicate in written and oral English.

- AS Degree or 60 units in Technology and Information Systems or related field (deemed by Agency).

- Responsible for generating computer data reports for the division.
- Create and generate specialized reports based on queries or other report writing.
- Monitor, troubleshoot software and department database systems.
- Maintain data integrity.
- Participate in design changes, edits & updates to information systems.
- Liaison with funding sources, agency associates, vendors & consultants.
- Analyze data and information and generate reports from hard copy source.
- Research, recommend and purchase software.
- Work with Information Technology staff, Chief Information Officer and computer consultants as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current requirements of funding sources.
- Actively participate in trainings. Work effectively as a team member.
- Read and implant all agency, program policies and procedures.
- Accurately complete all assigned paperwork, documentation in an accurate and timely basis according to policies and procedures.
- Assist Child Care Division Administrator and Coordinators as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
